Hi, a few days ago a suddenly got a BSOD naming ahcache.sys as the problem. ![]() Verifier Detected Violation Windows 10 Version 2004Ill list my hardware config as best I can below: Ryzen 5 3600X running at 3.8GHz (Base clock) Asus Strix B450-F Gaming (BIOS: 2901) G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16gb (2x8gb, 2933MHz) ROG Strix LC 240 AIO CPU cooler Galax RTX 2070 Super 128gb SATA SSD 2x 2TB Western Digital Blue 5400rpm HDD Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB Nvme SSD (Boot Device) Running Windows 10 version 2004 with the latest quality update. Ive tried using a pre-prepared USB to reset verifier.exe with CMD as well as tried Startup Repair, neither worked. If I could boot into the OS I could at least run Sysnative and Speccy. I successfully deleted ahcache.sys, but the errors still occur. On a positive note, I successfully managed to boot into safe mode, could I stop the verifier from here. I successfully booted into C: after disabling the verifier, however I cant open Start or Search, is there any other way to create an elevated command prompt Otherwise I cant run dism Edit: CtrlShiftEnter. Try hitting Windows key R Then type in cmd Then hit CtrlShiftEnter.
